Claiming Daniel 9:17-19

Today is day 4 of our 40 Day Fast.
Pray with us for one of these days from now till June 8! An awesome passage to pray through for revival and God’s great provision is Daniel 9, especially verses 17-19:

 

Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.

 

We are praying for all the members and missionaries of our church.

 

We are praying for revival in our personal lives, our church, city, and nation.

 

We are praying for God to shine mightily upon us at Heritage Baptist Church and provide the funds for us to purchase Manhattan real estate.

 

Daniel 9:18:
O my God, incline thine ear, and hear, open thine eyes, an behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name; for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

 

Our prayers are not offered in any way with the sense that we are better than anyone. We are in need of forgiveness, mercy, and His help. We are praying that we would be a people who will want the glory of the Name of Jesus Christ.

 

Daniel 9:19:
O Lord, hear, O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do, defer not, for thine own sake, O my God; for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

 

Yes God, do not delay your answer. We need you to do this NOW!
