2022 FBFI NYC Regional Fellowship

We are thrilled to announce our 2022 FBFI NYC Regional Fellowship with fellow NYC area pastors & wives and the folks of our churches on Tuesday, September 13th.

All are invited! This is not an event for pastors only! It is a fellowship of our churches, so come and enjoy the preaching, fellowship, and lunch to conclude our day.

Join us at 9:00 am for the coffee fellowship and the preaching will go from 10 am – 12 noon. We will have a Question and Answer from 12-12:30 pm followed by a delicious luncheon including turkey lasagna, roast chicken, and beef stew.

Our guest speakers will be Dr. Marshall and Gretchen Fant who served together at Harvest Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC for twenty-one years. Dr. Fant now serves at Gospel Fellowship Association Missions as Director of Church Consulting and Revitalization Program (See bio below).

Bring your wives and other women from your church as Gretchen Fant speaks in a split session to the ladies at 11 am.

A nursery will be provided.

Marsh and Gretchen Fant will speak on the following theme:

“The State of The Church and Your Church”

  • 10 am: “The State of Your Church: Tools for Analyzing the Health of Your Church.”
  • 11 am: Marsh will speak to the men on “Common Traits of Healthy Churches.”
  • 11 am: Gretchen will speak to the women on “Equipping Women to Help Women: The Mandate.”

Bio of Dr. Marshall and Gretchen Fant

Dr. Marshall Fant leads the Church Consulting and Revitalization Program at GFA, which is a special outreach ministry to revitalize struggling churches and assist healthy ones with strategic planning. As a certified church consultant, he is available to work with churches on leadership, discipleship, financial, and facility challenges. Partnering with his father in the leadership of Fant’s Office Supplies in Anderson, SC, Marshall became familiar with short- and long-range business plans, human resources procedures, employee training programs, goal setting, and various applications of computer systems. When the Lord turned his heart toward the pastorate, he and his wife Gretchen replanted Harvest Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC, in 1996, and saw it grow from an average attendance of 12 to 260 people.`

Gretchen is a conference speaker, author, and a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Gretchen earned her B.A. in French from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, and a M.Ed. from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She is a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Gretchen serves in the counseling ministry at University Baptist Church in Clemson, SC, and is a counselor and board member of the Piedmont Women’s Center in Greenville, SC.

Marshall and Gretchen Fant have been married since 1981. They have five grown children and eleven grandchildren.
